Change can be challenging, and I am here to offer you support and unconditional positive regard during those difficult times in life. I believe in establishing a good rapport with each client to help increase the participation and engagement in therapy. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, with my Bachelors of Arts from Hampton University and my Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill. I have years experience In working with individuals with ID/D, Autism Spectrum Disorder, trauma and domestic violence, and an array of mental health diagnoses.
I currently work with children seven and up, teens/adolescents, adults, and families. I collaborate with each client to develop treatment plan goals to help identify what areas of improvement are needed. I offer various evidenced-based practices, such as CBT and DBT, and will help implement coping skills through homework and practice.
